"The Nonprofit Giving course has been a great and unique learning experience. I was able to learn the basics about how nonprofit organizations operate which was very beneficial especially for someone interested in working in the field. What was even more beneficial for me was seeing all the organizations around the area that is doing amazing work. We were able to research many organizations that are working hard to minimize the opportunity gap for those less fortunate. Being able to actually visit these nonprofits and go on site visits was extremely moving. We were able to meet with Directors and even meet some alumni that went through and were helped by the organization we were visiting. Overall this class was a great experience. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in Sociology."
